Kinnikuman Retrospective: 21st Chojin Olympics Arc Part 2

Continued from Part 1...

When we last left off, the 21st Chojin Olympics preliminaries came and went, and the mysterious Warsman makes his presence abundantly clear. where will this tournament go, only time will tell... The hype gets real with the chojin getting cheered on by the audience. Terryman's now an announcer, Much like how Ramenman was in the 20th Chojin Olympics for a bit. The B Block chojin are competing in a baseball field, and the audience seems more interested in the game playing in it rather than the tournament. No one's happy with them getting a small presence in the Chojin Olympics compared to the A Block. The first match in the B Block starts with Cubeman, and Mindpuzzleman, They battle by solving each other's puzzles. I'll get to what I thought of the fights at the end of this arc. Cubeman wins and this happens...

Screw you, I've been solving your kind since I was a toddler... Anyone can solve you, even chapter 1 Kinnikuman can solve you.

Meanwhile in the A Block, Warsman battles Teapackman who starts fighting him with his Tea Packet he starts out owning him, the warsman dodges, and Teapackman gets trapped in his own weapon. Warsman then uses his screwdriver, and busts a hole through Teapackman, and the most epic thing happens.

You've hit by, you've been drank by, A Smooth Crinimal...

Pentagon congratulates warsman, and the next fights are Kinnikuman VS King Cobra and Brocken Jr. VS Watchman. Kinnikuman throws King Cobra and Cobra fires his wax sweat, Yes he's a wax chojin. Cobra keeps firing wax and trapping Kinnikuman in it. Meanwhile in the A Block, Brocken Jr. is getting owned by Watchman, so much so that he gets put in a sleeper hold. Brocken gets out of it by punching the Watch's face, knocks him out, and puts him in a camel clutch.

HOLY S**T!!!!!!
(if you're want know why there's no expansive gap between the text and the picture, it's because he's essentially a robot, so it's okay to show to kids, since after all, why do YOU think the Foot clan soldiers became Robots in the TMNT Cartoon?)

Brocken Jr. throws Watchman's head at Ramenman, and gets ready for round 2. Cobra chews at Kinnikuman. Cobra's headpiece comes off somehow... I guess it had something to do with a homerun in the game, but it isn't explicitly clear on that. Kinnikuman lights King Cobra on fire and...

Talk about feeling the burn...

Bemkiman flushes cobra down his toilet hole. The next battles'll happen at a horse track. the 8 chojin are on horses while kinnikuman is on stilts. They continue by racing, One of the rings gets covered by cement. This ring'll host the Ramenman-Brocken Jr. Fight, they get ready to fight. brocken Jr Body slams Ramenman. Ramenman breaks a few bones. The other battle happening right now is Wolfman and Cubeman. It's over in like a couple pages, with Wolfman turning all of Cubeman's sides one color, and tossing him out of the ring. An old lady pops Cubeman's head and blows it into pieces. Wolfman's moving onto the semifinals, and Brocken's putting Ramenman into a Suplex and h breaks a few more bones. Brocken puts Ramenman into a piledriver. Finally he gets put into a camel clutch, which he escapes, and then Ramenman puts Brocken in a...

What he said...

Both are injured beyond belief, and despite that, Ramenman's moving to the semifinals. The ring that they fought in turns back to normal, and USA and USSR Fighter jets appear with them bringing down Pentagon and Warsman respectively. Oh did I mention this was happening when the Cold war was happening, honestly that was wrapping up as this was coming out and makes this fight seem rather dated and tacky, But is it any good? We'll come back to that... now the fight between Kinnikuman and Benkiman is about to begin. Kanibase wants to fight Benkiman only to get flushed down his hole. Tileman soon follows, and gets turned into a ball to be flushed. Kinnikuman's afraid and tries to run away, but we'll have to see how this match goes later since Warsman and Pentagon are fighting. Warsman swings him around, pentagon lands on he pole and uses a dropkick. Warsman is getting attacked in all directions, Meanwhile Kinnikuman is being chased by a net to go back into the ring. Back at the Warsman fight, he continues getting drop kicked at but, he turns the tide with a body slam. Pentagon uses one of his signature attacks, the Space Falcon, It looks like Warsman is finished when he jumps onto Pentagon, tears his wing off, He then gets ready for the finishing blow.

Just imagine yourself as a kid in Japan reading this in Weekly Shonen Jump in fear your parents might catch you and get you in trouble...

Warsman is the 3rd semifinalist, but there's one spot left, who'll it go to? Kinnikuman's being chased by Benkiman and the next thing he knows he gets flushed down, or at least tries to, the chase continues. He then gets turned into a ball, and gets flushed down. Kinnikuman escapes naked, and so do the rest of the chojin which were flushed down. He apparently put his shorts in the toilet hole which is not allowed near Benkiman. He then goes all crazy so much so that he loses his Poop hat. He sends all his water flying out and crashes to the mat.

Ouch...

Kinnikuman is the final semifinalist, and'll face Wolfman in the Semifinals. Warsman'll fight Ramenman in his block. Ramenman's training for his fight against Warsman concerning Brocken Jr. Everyone wants a piece of Wolfman's sweat, so much so that Kinnikuman gets all sweaty, which no one wants. Out of a limousine Warsman and...

A mysterious figure appears.

Everyone's wondering where Ramenman is. Then he appears in no condition to fight. and we're going to stop it right here, Next time on Kinnikuman retrospective, the semifinals...
