It seems today that... HOLY CRAP, BRIAN'S DEAD!!!!!!!

So apparently, Brian the Dog's dead. Yeah I could just end off the blog right there, Since I know next to nothing about Family Guy, So I'm going into this completely blind, I don't care about Family Guy, or Seth MacFarlane, or any of his DOD DERNED AMERICAN SHOW OR CLEVELAND DAD SPINOFF SISTER WHATEVER SERIES!!!!!! But is this a world changing event that'll make Family Guy relevant again.

BEFORE WE BEGIN, THIS DOES CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR THE EPISODE, AND I'VE NEVER SEEN THE EPISODE, BUT THIS IS SETH MACFARLANE, SO I HONESTLY DON'T CARE!!!!! ANYWAY, ON TO THE BASIC RUNDOWN OF THE EPISODE:

ALSO THIS BLOG MAY OR MAY NOT BE SHORT!

So this episode has gotten mixed reviews from critics, But I'm not going to gather an opinion right now, But What has gotten the fandom up in a twist is that Brian Griffin got ran over by a car, dies, funeral and all, and replaced by a racist stereotype Character named Vinny the Dog. So I was Watching Bob's Burgers and saw an ad for Family Guy that one of the Characters was going to die. Wasn't there an episode of Family Guy that had a human version of Brian get killed by a car? But anyway... ONTO THE THOUGHTS ON THIS EVENT!!!!!!

I get the feeling this is done more for Shock value to hope in vein that it would get people to stop caring about Family Guy and to get Seth MacFarlane to move on to concentrating more on American Dad, his Upcoming reboot of the Flintstones, and His proposed Revival of the TV series Cosmos (Look it up). BUt I think That it'll have the complete opposise effect, because whenever a TV Show kills or writes off a major character, 9 times out of 10, It's national news. If Twitter and/or Facebook existed when Tommy Oliver was written off of Power Rangers, The reaction would be pretty similar to when Brian died, But that's a show with a ongoing narrative. So let's use a better example. Remember when Mrs Krabappel was written off of the Simpsons a couple weeks back, Reminding everyone... that..... The Simpsons is still.... apparently a thing. So... Yeah, this is done without any overwriting point, It's just shock value.

If he comes back December 8, when the next episode premeires, I'd be shocked, because they built up to this moment all week and they blow it the whole way. Say what you will about Brian, at least he had some charm to him, but Vinny is just a racist character who's just... well... there. Just not a good replacement, Then again there's at least 2 episode titles hinting that Brian might return, but that could also hint at a new character named Brian that appears, So I'll be surprised not matter what. So expect to be surprised no matter what, like me.

In conclusion, this is just another publicity stunt from a man who might have no respect for his own show, just a thought. Next Time... Pokemon Origins Episode 3.

SEE, I told you this blog's going to be short.
