My quick thoughts on Daredevil Season 2...

I admit the first season of daredevil was the first 4 out of 4 production from the MCU. Yes even more so than Avengers 1 and Captain America 2. It had a dark grit to it, the best villain in the MCU, a sense of realism to it, and great action, it was something that the movies just couldn't do at that point. Or at least until Deadpool came out and made the Marvel Movies under Disney blush. Jessica Jones tried to do the same basic thing, but with more focus on story, but It was just to similar to Daredevil but in the form of a Lifetime Original Movie. So how does Season two of the series that started it all fare? Well...

It made some decent improvements, but at the same time it's flaws are much more prevalent than in season 1. The story focuses on The appearance of the Punisher. who appears after a year of regularity in H ell's Kitchen with Matt Murdock doing his own thing. What follows is many fights with thee Punisher, in the second half an escalating conspiracy involving The Hand, and the appearance of Elektra, who's an (in name only) version of the Marvel Character. The first season of Daredevil had one focus and stayed to it, but this season has 2 or 3 different plots that don't 100% work. If they saved the Elektra stuff for Season 3, I wouldn't mind it as much as I do now, still when it works, it really works. Elektra is not that good of a character, if they wanted to give Daredevil a character arc, Fine but at least try to make a good character out of it... Elektra you probably couldn't tell it was her unless you payed close attention or read about it on the Internet, it doesn't help her character's boring and onenote. Punisher on the other hand may've been one note in the comics, but the series acknowledges this, and is not ashamed to make him an action focused character. He's just a pure macho badass. He'll probably get more interesting in his own movie or netflix series (if there is one), If I could indulge in some spoilers, The series ends in a cliffhanger, possibly leading up to Daredevil Season 3, The possible MCU Punisher Production, and the Defenders, just thought I'd let you know. But either way It was still a fun ride, and I can't wait until Luke Cage comes out, even if it looks like it was made for Black People much in the same way Jessica Jones was made for Women. I give this 3.5 Punisher Skulls out of 4...

Let's cross our fingers that Civil War turns out good...
