2014 was one hectic year for me, from the moving situation, to me graduating high school, but what really made my year tolerable is all the geeky news, events, and looking for busy next couple of years... What happened?

WTF of the Year: Ending my Epic Storyline due to time constraints.
Moment of Awesome: Establishing and dedicating myself as a member of the Toku fandom

VIDEO GAME RELATED NEWS/STUFF I DID THIS YEAR:

The console wars in full effect, with all 3 consoles having established fanbases this year. I don't know why, but the XBO and PS4 look like carbon copies of each other. Similar games (some of them being on both consoles), Similar design, Similar hardware, Similar control styles, similar everything. The Wii U was the outsider of the 3, but a the cost of big name games, 3rd party developers, and other benefits the other 2 had, But to their credit however, They had the most unique line up of the big 3, and some of the best games of this year, including Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, and Bayonetta 2. The portables had their time in the spotlight with hits like Tomadachi Life and Pokemon ORAS. Other hits include Destiny (even though it wasn't the game changer it was built up as), Dragon Age, Shadow of Mordor, PT, Shovel Knight, Titanfall, Five Nights at Freddy's, and Dark Souls II. However it wasn't all peaches and daisies, there was big name uproars which split people like The Death of Gaming Icon Justin "JewWario" Carmical (who I still can't get to watch a video from), Minecraft Creator Mojang being bought by Microsoft, and the infamous GamerGate. I brighter news, Nintendo turned 125 (with me making a big deal of it), Playstation turns 20, and other celebrations. Games to keep an eye out for include Witcher 3, Mighty No. 9, Zelda Wii U, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and more.

MOVIES/TV RELATED NEWS/STUFF I DID THIS YEAR:

I started watching the Flash, stopped watching Agents of Shield, and trying my damnedest to watch more Doctor Who. Colbert Said goodbye, Gotham made its way to the airways, two insulting ratings traps happened (Simpsons Guy, and Simpsorama). As far as movies go, all the high profile releases happened in such close proximity. Best movies go to Captain America 2 and Lego Movie. Most disappointing goes to Guardians of the Galaxy. One of the biggest uproars of the year is the Sony hack, it did show us to the upcoming animated Super Mario Bros the movie, but at the cost of personal information, private info, and movies being canceled. I still don't know if it's North Korea, but if it is, they must have some nerve to destroy the entire release of a movie over said release. Movies to look forward to include The Marvel and DC movies, Star Wars 7, Terminator Genesys, Jurassic World, Harry Potter Spin-offs, and of course MMPR THE REBOOT!!!!!!!!!

ANIME/MANGA RELATED NEWS/STUFF I DID THIS YEAR:

Other than Sailor Moon, Toonami, Garo: The Animation, it's been a pretty boring year for anime this year. I did get excited for my Kinnikuman retrospective by scouring as much Kinnikuman Stuff as I can, I love Sailor Moon and showed my appreciation of it when it came back to the USA. Toriko the anime ended, Kind of a shame, Because it was my favorite recent shonen that didn't star a children's card game. (You have no idea how good The original Yu-Gi-Oh! series, the sequels were BALLS (and not just Dragon Balls)!!!!). Dragon Ball turned 30, Kinnikuman turned 35, and Digimon Adventure turned 15 (FEEL OLD YET?!?!). Look forward for the new DBZ Movie next year (or the english version later), and the New Digimon Adventure anime.

POWER RANGERS/TOKUSATSU RELATED NEWS/STUFF I DID THIS YEAR:

I had a freaking ball with this this year, Toku reviews. Toku News, DESTROYING Super Megaforce. and watching more Toku than I did in previous years. Kakuranger, Garo Season 2, Megaranger, Kyoryuger, Kamen Rider 555, Ultraman Ginga, Gokaiger, Kamen Rider Gaim, Liveman, Akibaranger, Kamen Rider W, and a whole bunch of Toku Movies. ToQGer's coming to a close, and other assorted toku projects (both fanmade and professional) happened, and Look forward to NINNINNINNINNINGER, Famikamen Rider (which I want to watch without feeling guilty) and Kamen Rider 2015 (As well as Super Hero Taisen GP and Ultraman Ginga Movie 2015).

Get ready for 2015, because who knows what news or events will happen this year?
