Marvel's been on a roll lately, Ant-man, The last 2 Captain Americas, but when will the hype train stop? Nobody knows... But Today we're reviewing Doctor Strange...
It's pretty good, not what you'd call great, but It's fun mindf**kery at the movies. So Steven Strange is a doctor who gets inured bad in a car accident, and he goes to Nepal to find a cure, but he ends up in a peril of mythical proportions. The story may be a bit slow during the second act, but if you can get past that, it gets better as t goes along. There's plenty of that trademark marvel humor in this movie, so even if you're squeamish to the surgery scenes like I am, you might get a chuckle or two. Doctor Strange is a ground breaking hero of this mega franchise since he brings magic to the MCU... But none of the other characters really stand out other than Dormammu, who looks pretty cool. The presentation is where this movie really shines, it's got great effects, great magic martial arts action, and one hell of a 3rd act. Also this movie contains some possibly seizure inducing scenes, so don't let electric soldier porygon happen again ladies and gentlemen. Overall this is a pretty good movie, and gets better if you add LSD #STILLNOTCONDONINGDRUGUSE.... I give this three Doctor Strange capes out of four...
