Kinnikuman Retrospective: 21st Chojin Olympics Arc Part 3

Continued from Part 2...

When we last left off, Half the Tournament came and went, Ramenman injured, Warsman makes his presence known, Japan's biggest rivals get ready to put it all in the ring, this is when things start getting good. The next match will take place in Kuramae public arena, There's going to be a Sumo match in this arena. Kinnikuman sees Wolfman in a Mawashi belt and makes fun of him for it, only he stops laughing a few seconds later when he has to wear one for the match. Mayumi begins treating His son like a baby because he has to wear a Mawashi. You know this is the kind of scene a foreigner/gaijin would make if he (or she) didn't understand Japanese culture, but these are actual Japanese people, o at least have been Japanese/Japanese based for most of their lives So it kind of looks insulting to their own country. Ah well, guess we can't all be winners.. Wolfman makes his entrance with a flashy Mawashi. Everyone's cheering him on and then Kinnikuman makes his entrance with his stolen Mawashi. The ring changes. Kinnikuman gets some fans and gets into position. Kinnikuman starts with a drop kick, then a brain buster, which Wolfman escapes. Kinnikuman puts Wolfman in a manji hold, then Maymi tells him that this isn't a wrestling match. Wolfman tosses Suguru, and then uses his Cube Face Slap.

I know I've been through 100 something chapters of this series, but is his face supposed to look like that?

His face keeps swelling, he's on the edge of the ring. and Suguru gets tossed out of the ring. Mayumi fires a needle into Kinnikuman's head and it sends him back to the ring. Both Chojin grab each others belts. Kinnikuman survives an arm throw, and does it again with an under arm throw. Meanwhile, Warsman is training with some Ramenman Dummies. Ramenman trains for his match with Warsman despite being told not to. Back at the match, the wrestling keeps going on until Wolfman goes for the finisher and it looks like he's won, but is nowhere to be found. at leas until a few seconds later where he lands on one of the referees, because Kinnikuman put him into a suplex.. Kinnikuman's moving up to the finals. and the next match is Warsman vs Ramenman...

It'll take place in a steel cage. Warsman and his trainer bring a coffin. Warsman attacks Bibimba, his trainer seems to follow, but gets stopped by Warsman. Ramenman makes his entrance with Brocken Jr. Following. Both Chojin are going to be in a coffin death match. It's where the Chojin have to shove their opponent in a coffin.Warsman rips off Ramenman's bandages, and...

It appears he's fine, I wonder how long that's going to last...

Ramenman throws Warsman into his coffin, which he immediately escapes. Everyone's searching for Warsman, when he appears on top of the cage. to perform a knee stamp. Ramenman starts to get more and more injured. He then goes for a backdrop, which Warsman promptly escapes. Ramenman then goes for Canadian Backbreaker, Warsman then does a reversal. The mystery figure reveals that Warsman is a Fighting Computer Chojin. Ramenman fakes a camel clutch to do a neck hanging tree. Warsman then gets out of it, kicks Ramenman, then snaps his limbs. Warsman uses his bear claw, and Ramenman is losing. Warsman continues to attack Ramenman. Ramenman continues to avoid his attacks. Ramenman tries to kick Warsman with his one good leg and Warsman jumps as well. Warsman Kicks Ramenman into the announcers table, and goes for the finishing blow. Ramenman stands up, and Warsman goes for his screwdriver. Ramenman uses a ring bell as a shield. which works like crap since this happens...

OUCH!!!!!

Warsman throws Ramenman into the coffin, and Kinnikuman runs away in fear. Before we move on...

May I tell you how much I love this picture? It represents the contrast between Comedic Kinnikuman and Serious Warsman. Remember Kinnikuman is still kind of comedic this point of the series.

The 2 Finalists are set, Kinnikuman and Warsman. Warsman is training with some death row Chojin Warsman gets ready to kill the Chojin who run by him with his bear claw. Bibimba tries to stop them, but the run anyway. Warsman kills the prisoners, Kinnikuman trains with his father, and he does as well as you'd expect. Warsman fails to kill one of the prisoners, Upsetting Mr. Barracuda. Kinnikuman breaks the fake Warsman's bear claw off. Kinnikuman gets a little sure of his victory, OH GOD IT'S THE 20th CHOJIN OLYMPICS ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!! Kinnikuman and Warsman appear at a press conference for the finals at the Toshima Pool Park. Kinnikuman makes fun of Warsman, and Warsman gets pissed. The Fighters sign the contracts. Harabote announces the Finals. Kinnikuman makes the mistake of showing him his ultimate killer move which is his bear claw defense, plus a double arm suplex, in which Warsman responds with a Palo Special. Terryman helps Kinnikuman escape the Palo Special. That takes off Kinnikuman's mask which is an offense of the Kinniku Clan that's punishable by death. And no, We don't really find out what he really looks like for the entire duration of the series, or at least I don't think. The Finals will be an unmasking death Match. The day of the finals have come. Warsman is ready to weigh in, Kinnikuman not so much, he in fact has Meat's Face. Kinnikuman is forced to weigh in, while at the ring, Wolfman and Terryman make their entrances. Only it turns out that it's a match to see who has the most fan palm marks, which Terryman wins. Kinnikuman weighs in and passes. Warsman is over the proper weight Warsman gets his Bear Claws back. A fan of Kinnikuman falls and Warsman tries to help, but it doesn;t go to well. Warsman rips off the fake belt and is now the proper weight. Warsman rips apart the scale, and goes on a rage attack spree. Mr. Barracuda takes warsman away and gets attacked himself. Harabote and Mayumi Fight upsetting he crowd. Mr Barracuda tries to cool down Warsman, but it doesn't go to well. Kinnikuman runs away from the fight. Only to see Brocken Jr. with Ramenman in a wheelchair He explains what happened to Ramenman. and Ramenman unconsciously cheers Kinnikuman on.

One of the most Emotional Moments of the series, Just wait until you see how the anime makes it better...

Now there's something I want to discuss, because there's not going to be a better time to discuss it for a while. I wish I didn't have to discuss this, but here goes nothing. Brocken Jr. is going to be a main character here and the big problem is that he's a good Nazi. Which might offend some countries. I admit I can understand where they're coming from. The Nazi's were a major part of Europe's history, and were the main cause of World War II. So having a Nazi superhero might offend some people. especially holocaust survivors. This is also a reason for not having the series overseas, Kinnikuman was even banned in France because if this. Over the rest of the series, Brocken becomes less and less nazi like outside of imagery. In Nisei, it's pretty much non-existent. this has gone on so far that he could've been anything other than a Nazi at the point of the next arc. So yeah, is Brocken Jr. an offensive character? Not Really, If they were that offended, they could've ,made him something other than a nazi, but I think enough time has passed, and if Rudol von Stroheim from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is any indication, I think it's time to release the Kinnikuman Manga uncut in at least North America, especially considering that he's not meant to be offensive, even if he still is in some countries, so what, what's wrong with releasing a special European version to help fix that problem. If I haven't offended or scared anyone off, let's finish up this part of Kinnikuman Retrospective shall we?

Harabote and Mayumi continue to wrestle.with their sweaty bodies, and Warsman is sent to screw with the match. Warsman digs a tunnel to the ring and throws it out of the stadium. The ring is thrown back into the stadium and Kinnikuman appears. Warsman gets ready to attack when Kinnikuman stops him. Mr Barracuda Unmasks himself, and we'll find out who he really is... Next time...

See you all Kinnikuman day (July 29) my lovely fans...

CONCLUDED IN PART 4...
