My Quick Thoughts on Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice

ATATATATA!!!!!! 2-HIT COMBO!!!!!!
MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

Congratulations, Green Lantern is no longer the worst movie based off a DC Comics movie, that honor goes to this thing, i know I probably influenced some o my opinions on other people, but I practically knew this flop was going suck over a year in advance, When I first saw what everyone looked like on Comic Con 2014 coverage, Let's get this out of the way, Zack Snyder is wrong for this material, his style's just to gritty for this abstract juvenile fare. This 90s extreme comic book style died out a long time ago, why is it making a comeback?

This is a rare case of everything that could've gone wrong has. Complete Apathy for the source material (other than 2 stories, but no one cares about Death of Superman and Dark Knight Returns anymore), The first half was the absolute worst with a lot of stuff that could've been cut out and a lot of stuff that was theoretically cut out to prevent this from being a 3 hour movie, but costing the movie being coherent. I'd tell you the story, but it suffers from the exact same problems the Phantom Menace suffered from 17 years ago. In case you missed my review of it, it's all politically debate this, and no meaningful stuff anywhere that. The second half is pretty good, if for nothing else the great action, but that's just about all the redeeming stuff in the movie. To say the trailers pretty much spoiled the movie is an understatement. There were 2 surprises one was teasing the justice league, which was alright, I guess. but the way they handled superman's death (the other big surprise of the movie rubbed me the wrong way. Wonder Woman was the best part of the movie, but she only mainly appeared for the last 30-45 minutes of the movie. Ben Affleck's Batman was pretty good as Bruce Wayne since he gets the character, but as batman, he's still doing that overly serious gravelly voice, and he swaps from being batman to the punisher and back constantly, but no one got a screwed over as much as Lex Luthor, I could forgive them for making him essentially a teenager, but at least stay true to the character, he feels like Jim Carrey doing an impression of Steve Jobs. It feels like this film's trying to do to much in it's unforgivably long running time. It wants to top man of steel in terms of scope and quality, It wants to set up Justice League, It wants to combine two DC stories, and it fails pretty much at all of it. This movie sucks, but because it is Batman battling Superman, you probably already saw it. I give this 1.75 Kryptonite spears out of 4, and the official A. Yoshi seal of CRAP!!!!

I would say hope this gets better from here, but I have no hope in this, as Akemi Homura once said, "Hope is a lie..."
