Ant-Man is a cute and fun movie that isn't focused on topping any specific Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. It's a heist movie but with guys with superpowers. Ant-Man and Yellowjacket look like Kamen Riders to get away from the guys in tights from yesteryear. The story is that Scott Lang is a professional thief who meets Hank Pym, The original Ant-Man, after stealing the Ant-Man suit. Darren Cross is the new boss of Pym Industries, and he creates the Yellowjacket for advanced warfare. There's also a plotline dealing with the daughter of Scott dealing with custody and vistation rights after a divorce, which is an interesting thing to show to kids, because several of them only have one parent, and it does it so tastefully. At least it's more significant than the Chekhov's Gun Plot dealing with the same type of plot in Jurassic World. The rest of the plot is a heist and a special effects heavy fight both with tons of great humor... The characters are all they should be, the heroes are loveable and funny (especially the guy with all the stories and several funny scenes during the heist), the villains are diabolic, and the special effects scenes all look amazing. One more thing before rating time, Stay for the entire duration of the film, even after ALL the credits. Overall I give this 3.5 Ant-Man Suits out of 4...
