Toku Rubbish Roundup #3

GAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I'm tired, lacking motivation to do blogs, and I'm on a F***ING DEADLINE!!!!!! Ok, an Imaginary deadline, but still. So expect the 2 Halfway to Halloween blogs sometime on April 30 and before, and expect another R.Cubed in the coming weeks. With that said, Let's see how the 3 Toku series that I'm currently watching that are on going are doing.

NO I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT THE NEW GARO SERIES, I'M 2 YEARS BEHIND THE SERIES AND IT'S SPINOFFS!!!!!!

POWER RANGERS SUPER MEGAFORCE: SO DULL NOT EVEN A 6TH RANGER COULD FIX IT:

So Super Megaforce is flip flopping from being dull, to being sucktacular, to being dull again. The sad part about this whole Saban owning Power Rangers again is that it doesn't even try, like at all.  Samurai was a Facepalmworthy, piece of GAR-BITCH tahat was boring, dull, and even so bad at times that I feel like it's still owned by Disney, but for the record it did have it's moments. The original Power Rangers Megaforce felt  like an even worse ripoff of MMPR, At least  Mighty Morphin' felt like a decent Pulp Action Sci-Fi serial, but Megaforce felt like at best a big budget for-profit Fan Film. Super Megaforce is the bottom of the Barrel when it comes to mechanicalized, heartless, corporatized, soulless, assembly line, hackneyed adaptations because it is the biggest of mechanicalized, heartless, corporatized, soulless, assembly line, hackneyed adaptations Saban has put out since Masked Rider. Enough of my rant, Let's get on to it, Megaforce Silver makes his debut, and say what you will about Gai from Goakiger, at least he has character, but Orion feels like he has no personality, a cliche story, and it just proves that Saban is just doing favors for someone. Do I need to say anymore at this point since only two episodes aired, and Megaforce is still pretty bland, I GIVE THIS AN OFFICIAL SUCK RATING FROM ME!!!!!!

TOQGER: STILL HEADING UP ON THE UPHILL TRACK:

Two major things Happened, The Diesel Ressha and the Tank Ressha. Turns out Diesel Ressha wasn't the long awaited Debut of ToQ 6Gou. I can't wait to see the Diesel-Oh this week. Story wise, They're still riding on the rainbow line searching for new resshas, but we did have a fight with General Schwarz. Also there was The Kamen Rider Gaim VS ToQGer crossover which was nothing more than an advertisement for Kamen Rider War, but was a decent enough crossover which I may or may not get to at another time. The story hasn't really developed yet, but the 6th ranger will debut this summer. Not much else to say. I give this an official GOOD rating from me.

KAMEN RIDER GAIM: THE PLOT THICKENS:

You know, The more I think about it, The more Gaim feels like a Shonen fight anime, Simple Story to start, then a tournament, after that a major threat, and fianlly an even bigger threat. So Gaim's Kachidoki Arms debut, and we get to see the Overlord Inves, Powerful Inves that rank higher that regular Inves. Another thing that debuts is Gaim's Jimber Peach arms, Which gives him super human hearing..We also learn about DJ Sagara's true motivations, we don't fully know who he is yet, but I get the feeling that he's the big bad of the series, and that the Blue Overlord Inves is based off of Gaim. Gaim's getting kind of better. So I'm giving this an official GOOD rating from me.

See you next month, and Story Continues next time.
