Goodbye ToQGer, Hello Ninninger...

NANANA NINGER, NINGER NINGER NINGER!!!!!!!! NINNINGER NINGER NINGER!!!!!!!! NINNINGER NINGER NINGER NINGER!!!!!!! SHURIKENN SENTAI NINNIIIIINGER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time for the how I enjoyed the Last Sentai series, how I'm enjoying the new Sentai series. This year we'll be talking the child like adorableness of ToQGer and the Action Packed NINNINNINNINNINNINNINNINNINNINGER!!!!!!!

ToQGer had potential, it has the trains which are a big part of Japanese youth, and by that note all of Japanese people. I love trains as a theme, it's unique, but they also made it seem like a toddler's show. It just didn't know what it wanted to be, was it a baby show with stuff kids are to young to understand? Was it an older kids show with some elements that are aimed at a younger crowd? It's almost as much as a mess as (Super) Megaforce, at least there it was consistent. The darker elements work really good, but really it was on and off. I also thought having the sixth ranger be a maintenance man was unique. Yeah I honestly thought the darker as the show went on worked better for Kamen Rider Gaim. The final scene of the series was cute, but overall the series was a mess, even while acknowledging the positive aspects...

Ninninger on the other hand was where it was really at. It has more fast paced and over the top action, the right amount of comedy, and the mech was better, if a little bulky. Shinobimaru reminds me of God Saruda/Ape NinjaZord from Kakuranger/MMPR Season 3, It's so acrobatic. The main villains are Mcfarlane-Worthy (they could work well as designer toys). This and the last series have a unique charm to them, but this time it has that charm that fueled classic Power Rangers. I can't think of anything particularly wrong with this series, the characters are part of that charm, it's not too dark, not too light hearted,  I'm later going to be watching the crossover with Kakuranger/Alien Rangers and Hurricanger/Ninja Storm after I post this, and later this month. the debut of Texas Bronco Cowboy called Starninger, which calls for a song...

See you next year when I compare Ninninger to with the 40th Sentai series (if Ninninger's successful, I know how Sentai's kind of been dwindling these past few years).
