So I'm Planning to make this a monthly thing, rather than a weekly thing, Just so incase we get a two or 3 fillers for the episodes of toku I watch, I can talk about this month in toku, rather than an all filler week in toku. Before we begin, let's address one thing...
So how about that Kikaider trailer... Anyone agree that this movie's going to kick ass... Can a brother relate?
Now on to this month in toku...
POWER RANGERS SUPER MEGAFORCE: STILL S**TING ON THE POWER RANGERS LEGACY:
Power Rangers Super Megaforce Introduced 2 new auxiliary mechs, the Mystic Dragon Zord, and the Red Lion Zord. It also Introduced the Jungle Fury attack for the Legendary Megazord, as well ads introducing 2 legendary rangers, Casey from Jungle Fury, and Jaden from Samurai. Overall this month in episodes has been very.... not good. It did introduce the Maskman and Flashman modes, without any explanation why they even exist. Yeah this series is the worst in Power Rangers history, just because it's going to have a bunch of crap that Saban doesn't know how to use and they use it like a five year old who though a tool was a toy. I want to give up, but we've still got the legend war, which Nick and Saban will hype up into a freaking ratings trap, ah well, nothings perfect, Power Rangers Super Megaforce get's a new official SUCK rating from me, made even more prevalent from the fact that I just finished Gokaiger.
TOQGER: INSERT WITTY TITLE HERE:
So the series is still finding what it wants to be, made prevalent by the fact that there's no epic story right now, since it's not a good idea to rush into the 6th ranger, after all it's only on the 6th episode, so don't expect the first real orange ranger to appear for another few episodes. We do however get some auxiliary mechs in the mean time, like the shield ressha and car carrier ressha, and we do get the rangers stopping at towns to stop them from getting possessed by the darkness. Next week we get our first real showdown with Baron Nero, and the tank ressha, which I think will give the ToQ-oh boxing gloves. Still I can't wait for the first real orange ranger since battle Cossack, but might not see him until late April-early May. The show feels less like a little kids show as you watch it, but it still has elements like many colors vs black. Anyway I give this series a new official good rating.
KAMEN RIDER GAIM: STILL THE POORMAN'S RYUKI:
Kamen Rider Gaim still feels like a watered down Ryuki. We do get our first glimpse at the overlord inves, who serve as the bad guys of the show, along with Yggdrasil. We also get Oren manipulating the former Gridon. But I do feel that Ryuki did a better job with the story, it was not to simple and not to complex, when this show doesn't know if it wants to be simple, complex, or both, but whatever it's trying to be, it's not working to its full potential, we do get the Jimber Cherry arms, which is the same armor as the Jimber Lemon arms, just with a different paint job (slightly). I can't wait until the kachidoki arms next week, with a gun that transforms into a sword and vise versa. I don't know what the Kiwami arms will look like but I imagine based on the silhouette kachidoki arms with a cape and multicolored. I think the blue overlord inves will be a shogun or samurai, but all this speculation is not really enough to call it good, I have to give it an official new rating of meh.
