The Avengers review

As Apollo Z. Hack Always Said: Let me pitch it to ya. The Avengers is one of the most anticipated films of the year. This was going to be a huge success or failure for Marvel, The Avengers comics, Stan Lee, and whoever and whatever else was involved in making this film a possibility. does this live up to the hype or is this a disgrace to Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.




STORY:


Over the span of 5 films, we stood until the endings of each and every one of them. They Were Iron Man ( Which wast the best out of the five), The Incredible Hulk (Fairly Mediocre but still a entertaining), Iron Man 2 ( Proly the weakest or second weakest of the five), Thor (Middle best), and Captain America (Easily the second best).


FOR THOSE WHO WANTED TO ELABORATE ON EACH OF THESE FILMS, THIS IS A REVIEW OF THE AVENGERS, NOT EVERY SINGLE DOD DERNED COMIC BOOK FILM EVER MADE. U MAD? GET OVER IT!!!!!!




The story may seem complicated at first (especially to someone who hasn't seen these films), but here's the basic story. Magic Macguffin, the said macguffin stolen from secret organization (SHIELD) by evil overlord (Loki), Organization's leader (Nick Fury) hires six super heroes to defeat overlord, they destroy a bunch aliens, chew bubblegum, kick ass, you get the idea. But where the films story shines is how it's executed. It has a little something for every one, Story, Action, Humor, Drama. It easily falls into one of da best movies of the year. it feels more than just a 2 hour action figure commercial (Which it could have easily fell into). It feels like a film that can stand with other super hero movie greats.

ALSO STAY A LITTLE AFTER THE MAIN MOVIE'S DONE, JUST SAYIN'.


CHARACTERS:


Ah yes, The characters.  They look like like how they do in the comics, they sound like how they do in the comics, and they play like how they do in the comics. Nick Fury is The mentor, Loki is the villain, Captain America is the leader, Iron Man handles machines, Thor is the strong and serious guy of the team, Hulk is the scientist and the comic relief (and the best part of the movie. if you see the movie and/or read the 2 words b4 the parentheses, you'll know why), Black Widow is the girl because why the hell not, and Hawkeye is the sixth ranger. which brings me to.....

WHY IS HAWKEYE NOT LOOKING LIKE HOW HE DOES IN THE COMICS!!!!!!!!!!!!


He looks kinda like how he does in the comics but he's not as colorful or as elaborate in the movie as he is in the comics or any other interpretation.


PRESENTATION:


As I said the film has a little bit of everything for everyone, The action is fast paced and keeps you at the edge of your seat every time you see it, It makes you want more. but if there's a part better than the action, it is the humor. Most of the humor comes from either the hulk or iron man, But mostly the hulk. You have to see the movie to know what I'm even talking about.it has each of these individual part without over doing any of it.


OVERALL: 


The Avengers isn't just a good movie, it's a great movie. It could of been a 2 hour toy commercial but it surpasses that reputation and becomes on of the best superhero movies of the past 10 years, let alone ever. i give this 3 and a half cosmic cubes out of 4.
