A. Yoshi Opinion Piece: Enough of the NX Rumors, just show us the damned console...

So Nintendo NX rumors, they're no longer fun to listen to... Remember when Nintendo first teased the console. It's been almost a year and a half since the original tease, and Nintendo hasn't said much since the original announcement while Microsoft had a tease for XBOX Scorpio (at E3 no less), and Sony showed off the PS4 Neo as the PS4 Pro, I don't care if it didn't get the best reception, what matters is that they did it, but nintendo must like all these rumors and supposed leaks, Here I'll tell you why these are BS!!!!




Long ago you didn't have the internet to give rumors, news, etc. for gaming, back then you had to rely on word of mouth and magazines for games, if a game sucked, oh well, you wasted a weekend playing the game. Hell, rumors were much more interesting back in the 90s, remember talks of Reptile, and Ermac in Mortal Kombat, or talks of Shen Long in Street Fighter II, there was no talks of processor speed, specs, and my console was better than yours talks stayed in the playground...


Look at the world now, 30 years old pseudo intellectuals are talking about how much the scorpio is going to be better than the pro (and vise versa), and over hyped, over budgeted games reign supreme. I give you this perspective to show that Nintendo doesn't know what to do with their newest console, even before half a year of it's release. And rumors of NX are getting annoying with clickbaity articles, "leaked" specs, and nintendo hasn't done a damn thing to fix that. they may've denied/confirmed like 2 or 3 rumors since it's initial tease, so almost 2 years of hype, and they said like 4 or 5 things pertaining to it. mainly pertaining to the lines of, "Hey, let's not make another Wii U". I almost want Nintendo to trademark a name so we have a decent idea of what it's called. Nintendo, I know your reputation possibly can't get any worse, but stop leaving us in the dark. I'd even be satisfied if it was a blowup doll you could play a Peach and Daisy porn game on Wii U. And to all the 3rd parties, what's the console like, I heard stuff from CD Projekt RED (Witcher Series) and Take 2 (2K Games/Rockstar Games), but at least tell us what it's about... Oh wait, you're worried that the Big N will take your developer privileges away. Nintendo, Please reveal the NX Soon, I don't want ti have to sit through more leaked BS, Just Hurry up and reveal the damned console already, it's not like sony and Microsoft will adapt as soon as you announce it. It took 4 years since the Wii's announcement to show off the Microsoft's Natal/Kinect, and Sony's Move. Don't wait until your good and ready,get hype, because if this fails, you're done, I'll lose a major part of my gaming hobby, and I don't like thinking like this, it just doesn't feel good... That's all I can say...
