A. Yoshi Opinion Piece: Enough of the NX Rumors, just show us the damned console...
So Nintendo NX rumors, they're no longer fun to listen to... Remember when Nintendo first teased the console. It's been almost a year and a half since the original tease, and Nintendo hasn't said much since the original announcement while Microsoft had a tease for XBOX Scorpio (at E3 no less), and Sony showed off the PS4 Neo as the PS4 Pro, I don't care if it didn't get the best reception, what matters is that they did it, but nintendo must like all these rumors and supposed leaks, Here I'll tell you why these are BS!!!!

Gaming Bits: Nintendo Satellaview
Has anyone in the early 90s who have been the right age to be a Nintendo kid and wanted a Sega channel like service for the SNES? What if I told you that was a thing,, but only in Japan. If you got some foreign exchange student to get you a Super Famicom Plus a Satellaview back in the day and wondered why it didn't work, which none of that happened to any of you, but it's totally hypothetical, but if it did happen to you, here's what happened...

Gaming Bits: Famicom Data Recorder and Family BASIC...
I honestly don't know if I can dedicate a whole segment to this thing, but I said I'd do this because right as I post a new gaming bits, I have to stick with the next segment idea until it gets written, and only then do Ideas come to my head, after that once I write a segment, My mind crashes, burns, and goes blank, so I'm forced to write stupid crap like this, here it's not stupid so much as it's not the best. Then again I dedicated a whole third of a year on a bunch of the most interesting consoles of the late 90s... Ah well, here's the Famicom data recorder...

Gaming Bits: Getting the best image quality out of your retro games, Exploring your options...
RGB: Red, Green, and Blue, The national colors of gaming. OK once upon a time it was all the primary colors, now it's green and brown at least in western regions, but that's for another day. Red, Green, and Blue allows for millions of colors, from yellows, to cyans, to magentas, but what's the best way to get all these colors on older systems. Time to explore your options...

Gaming Bits: What exactly caused the Wii U to fail?
Let's face it, the Wii U (at least as far as sales) lost this generation, We've been saying "Give it a few months and sales will turn around" for too long now and the Wii U is the loser of this generation, even more so than the FREAKING VITA (Just barely though)!!!!!!! I know you're thinking the Ouya did terribly, but don't make me laugh, I've made the mistake of overstating the Ouya, and it isn't even in the same market. So it's time to ask ourselves, what went wrong with the Wii U? How did it fail? Was there anything Nintendo could've done to turn it around?

Gaming Bits: Bandai Wonderswan (56k Warning)
We did it, the Final console of it's era. Not many of you know what this wonder (pun intended) of a console is, that's because it was only released in Japan, and did pretty well there too. It even got an 8% market share of the portable games market in Japan. an honor the Neo Geo Pocket Color couldn't boast about. It all started when things went bad with Nintendo and one of it's developers, Gunpei Yokoi, the creator of the Game Boy.

Gaming Bits: Sony Playstation 1 (56k Warning)
The PS1. The most successful console of it's time, with 102 MILLION UNITS Sold worldwide, Not a failure by any means. It's not my favorite console of the era, but it is the most interesting, with a history going as far as the 1980s, a full decade before the console was released. It popularized CDs as a legit form of storage for games. It started with a deal gone bad with Nintendo, and evolved to one of the biggest names in gaming. This is the story of the Sony Playstation...

Gaming Bits: Game Boy Color, A handheld blinded in nostalgia or a gemof our childhoods? (56k Warning)
They say a lot of people are too tied to nostalgia, what I mean by that a lot of the stuff we like as kids aren't as good as adults, sure there's exceptions, but think about it Beast Wars > G1 Transformers, A lot of post 1987 TMNT Cartoons > The 1987 Original, 2011 Thundercats >1985 Thundercats, 2002 He-Man > 1983 He-Man, Future Power Rangers Seasons > MMPR, and and the most controversial one, Sailor Moon Crystal > Sailor Moon Classic. The Game Boy was the portable NES, it was in Black and Spinach Green, but It lived a good long life. The Game Boy Color didn't nearly live as long of a life, mainly due to the Game Boy Advance, But was it any good? Kind of...

Gaming Bits: Nintendo 64 (56k Warning)
Earlier this Year, I talked Nintendo in the 5th generation of video game consoles, Which talked among other things the N64. It was my first game console, it's games were arguably just as, if not more influential than the PS1's, it created some of the things we take for granted in games today. The analog stick, the popularization of FPS games on consoles, 4 players right out of the box, rumble, targeting, enhanced resolution, all this and more in the fun machine, this segment in gaming bits, we'll be talking it's ups, downs, lefts, rights, and my personal experiences with it...

Gaming Bits: The Mystery of the M2... (56k Warning)
The year is 1998, a true 64 bit CD Based console was supposed to be released. It was supposed to be made by Panasonic and it was built up since the early to mid 90s, but in the previous year, it was canceled. However later in the decade and the years onward it was repurposed to be in stuff like Coffee vending machines in Japan, ATMs, and Interactive Kiosks. What happened? What caused this Cancellation? What caused what could've been the most powerful console of its time to turn into a laughing stock amongst games journalists? Find out today...

Gaming Bits: Neo Geo Pocket Color
In 1999, SNK (creators of the Neo Geo) was struggling, Their Neo Geo MVS and AES Systems was declining due to the decline of arcades, and they're system not being up to par with its competition. Heck, the successor to said system the Hyper Neo Geo 64 pretty much failed. They tried to compete with Nintendo's ever dominant Game Boy line, the original Neo Geo Pocket, It failed due to the just released Game Boy Color (which actually had color, obviously) and the ever growing Pokemon Franchise, and it wasn't released outside of Asia. A year later in 1999, SNK released a new portable worldwide...
