Hey, It's at least better than Batman v. Superman, Then again, what recent Superhero Movie isn't?
I'll admit I really wanted to like this movie, even with everything going against it. It wasn't bad, just Okay. Basically The plot goes like this, Enchantress is released from her thousand year prison, and causes trouble, Villains such as Deadshot, Harley Quinn, El Diablo, Captain Boomerang, Killer Croc, and Slipknot, are assembled on a suicide mission to save Midway City, They're latter joined by Katana, and why does this plot sound so similar to Power Rangers, maybe I'm crazy, but that's what it sounds like... I suppose that's not the worst setup for D-Bag Defenders with elements of Power Rangers and Batman, but it just doesn't feel right.The Characters are... Well... Some are better than others, case in point, Deadshot (who has an emotional backstory) and Harley Quinn (who acts as good as she looks) are better than the Joker (who I get what they tried to do with him, but it doesn't play out right). The rest of the characters I don't have much to say, or didn't care for that much one way or the other. The soundtrack is all over the place, with classic songs and rap songs all over the place. and the colors are pretty drab, with different shades of green and brown, and The effects are big and epic as usual. Overall the movie is alright and best waited until it comes out on DVD. This movie gets 2.5 Harley Quinn's out of 4.
