Yes, I'm well aware that I haven't produced a post this week, mainly due to writer's block, But my boss gave me a rain check and a 3 day grace period, Hope this works...

First off, if you're a parent of a young child (especially if he/she's autistic) and they want to see The Lego Batman Movie, if they haven't already, GO!!!!!!! just make sure you make time to stop at a park or (if it's not nice enough out) something without too many easily breakable objects, because, trust me, it'll make them EXTREMELY HYPER!!!!! Heck, I'm 21 (as of November 16, 2016), autistic, and feeling basically the same way only helped by my body, chair, a fidget toy, and the TV as Background noise...

Remember when Nickelodeon was good, when there were clever non pandering shows that had smarts as well as jokes. One of these shows from this era was KaBLaM! It was a variety show with mini-shows like Prometheus and Bob, and Life with Loopy. Both shows have their bragging rights, but one show always stood out to me, mainly because I had problems watching it due to characters calling each other names constantly, but more on that in a bit. That show was known as ACTION LEAGUE NOW!

HAPPY 20th ANNIVERSARY TOY STORY!!!!!! The First one was a childhood classic, and The second one, while not quite to the level of personal preference as the original had some enjoyable qualities. It is objectively better than the original, but it isn't the game changer that the original was. what makes me say all that about this, am I s**ttalking the movie, while giving Psuedo Praises to it? Nah, This really has downgrades and upgrades to the original... I'll get more into it as I go into it...

Growing up, I was never a big TMNT fan, I watched the show and movies from time to time in my 20 years of existence, but I was never what you'd call a fan. Never watched the show religiously, Never collected the merchandise or toys, I personally feel like the Power Rangers and Pokemon made a bigger to me. There is one legendarily WTF piece of Turtles history that always intrigued me, No not the concert, any of the movies, or even the Next Mutation (which I have to talk about sometime), I'm talking about the Legendary presumed to be lost for years anime, Mutant Turtles: Superman Legend...

Beast Wars: A More Mature Take of Transformers

One of the big problems of the transformers movies is that they're pandering, 1 dimensional schlock. Sure the 80s show was just as much so, but it was a product of it's time, and it was decent pulp sci-fi at the time. Still, all boys franchises from the 80s had to evolve to feed a new generation of kids, and not every franchise had a successful transition to the 90s, Thundercats was abandoned only to be remembered by 90s kids as one of the Founding Toonami Shows, He-Man had an unsuccessful sequel leaving the franchise to never to return again until the new millenium, GI Joe (the granddaddy of all action figures) was always on and off as far as popularity since the 1960s, and most boys toylines (old or new) from the 90s were overshadowed thanks to Power Rangers and Pokemon eclipsing their stars. Transformers was not one of those franchises, in fact, it made a CGI TV show that was just as good, if not better than most of the best G1 had to offer...
