56K BEWARE!
Well, here it is, my review of the goofiest, most silly series children's series known as...BARNEY THE DINO... Wait...
APRIL FOOLS!!!!!!!
Ok, Carranger, is it really as bad as I once thought it was? It's goofy, and doesn't make much sense, but I'm willing to give it a fair chance, so what are my thoughts on this goofy, yet fun and emotional series? Here we go...
STORY:
The opening features cars riding through the Badlands with a catchy as hell Theme, what more could I ask for? Well, lets get into the actual series... it starts out with...
Donald Trump's first day as president...
Dairanger?
APRIL FOOLS!!!! He's still alive.
The Carrangers head for Bowzock, The roll call, and they save people affected by Bowzock. After that a fight scene ensues, then Bowzock turns a firetruck into a monster, they defeat the monster, the enemy retreats, and the episode ends, but not before a samba and a wahhahha (I wonder if he ending song was written by Waluigi)...
FAST FACT:
Each episode ends with a safety tip for the road at the end of the next episode preview.
The story continues in episode 4, when Grotch heads to Earth. he bumps into a kid, and he asks him what good food there is on earth. He gets the boy's mother to buy him all the food he recommended. when he has the Imo-Yokan, his mouth burns, and he grows. Ichitaro gets his father to look at the strange occurrence. The Carrangers henshin and soon follow. They fight the enlarged Grotch with their weapons and get their own personal weapons, which came from a filler episode that was more of a toy commercial than anything. Grotch is just to powerful for the Carrangers. Not even the Formula Nova is enough to stop him. MM Mogu get called upon and teams up with Grotch to kidnap Ichitaro Tenma, to get more Imo-Yokan. The Carrangers turn their car replicas into full sized cars. Mr. Tenma returns with more Imo-Yokan, but MM Mogu Shrinks and him and Grotch has to retreat. Now onto episode 5. Grotch Tells Bowzock about he Imocho Imo-Yokan, and uses one of them on a cockroach who I'm sure will not have any significance past this point of the story. The Carrangers try to learn how to use their ranger Vehicles by reading the manual... Yeah... Grotch buys some more Imo-Yokan, MM Mogu grows to Giant size, but the Carrangers are having lunch, so they head to the crime scene. They get their ranger Vehicles out, and we get a a humorous scene where MM Mogu gets his belly button shown and Zelmoda gets into action when The Carrangers use their Ranger Vehicles. the next few minutes is a demolition derby, complete with Pink Racer's vehicle splitting, and a cutaway about Grotch's dirty Belly Button and MM Mogu eating buildings The RV Robo begins to combine, while the destruction continues. Red Racer, finishes off the Zelmoda with...
Unsee that ladies and gentlemen...
TURBO MEGAZORD SPINOU... I mean,.. DAMMIT!!!!!

Our Victory is Absolute!
VRV ROBO!!!!!!
Was this guy inspired by Star King Bazoo (from Changeman) or something...
He explains his next plan to Bowzock and creates a Robot from a Space Land Magizine cutout model...
FAST FACT:
Space Land is actually inspired by the defunct Japanese Magazine TV Land (with no relation to the American TV Network), it was Tokuma Shoten's (The original publishers of the Guyver and Trigun manga (Both of which were originally featured in Shonen Captain), as well as the life long publishers of Famitsu and Animage), Version of Kodansha's TV Magazine or Shogakukan's Televi-Kun, Complet with tokusatsu news and stuff. That wasn't so much fast, but it was indeed a Fact...
Grotch creates the robot, and Exhaus' plan is to create the Intergalactic Highway. Norishiron 12 lands on Earth. The Carrangers henshin and get their mechs out along with Signalman's. Norishiron 12 traps Sirender in it's handcuff chain, just in time for the Carrangers to arrive. The Carrangers get too overly confident and go for the finishing move and fail both times. Both Mechs get trashed by the Norishiron, just as it's about to finish the Carrangers off, it loses it's arm, and is forced to retreat. Exhaus gets pissed, and Dapp explains who Exhaus is to the Carrangers. The episode ends with Blue, Green, and Yellow Racers returning home from grocery shopping in Dragon Cruiser. Exhaus rages again, and Youko decides to look for her ideal man. Grotch went to get Imo-Yokan from the shop earlier, but it was closed because the seller has grown old. So Exhaus creates a anti-aging cream that turns you younger and Grotch sends a monster to use the cream on the Imo-Yokan salesman. The Imo-Yokan salesman turns younger by the cream. The Imo-Yokan salesman bumps into Youko, making her think that he's her perfect man. the 2 youths have an exchange and a montage with an inset song plays. The monster has a fight with the salesman, and the other Carrangers appear. The bad guys get out of the situation. The salesman's wife appears and things get awkward. After a pretty emotional scene, The monster goes on the loose and the Carrangers chase after him. The monster turns Signalman into a child, and a fight scene ensues powered to the English version of the Carranger Theme. After it looks like Pink Racer won, Norishiron 12 appears. A mech fight starts, and the Monster Grows. Sirender joins in even though Signalman's a child. Some cream is spread over Norishiron returning it back to it's model kit form. VRV Robo finishes off the Monster and everyone's returned to their Proper Ages. Everything ends happy ending the episode. After a couple fillers, 1 advertising a possible combination for RV/VRV Robo, The story continues with episode 41... Exhaus explains more about the Intergalactic Highway, when the Carrangers are preparing for Christmas. The roach monster who was always in the background of the Bowzock base, and the star monster of an episode appears with upgrades. The Carrangers fight him, and get their energy drained. They later regain their energy and beat the monster. It revives the other 2 mechs, and the Carrrangers send their own mechs to beat them. The 6 Carranger Mechs fight, against the 3 Bowzock Mechs. The Bowzock mechs are getting too powerful for the carrangers, especially with Dapp powering them. Dapp overpowers the Bowzock mechs, and the 5 VRV Fighters Combine. and RV Robo joins the Fight. The fight continues.
CARMIC FRIENDSHIP!!!!!!
They destroy the mechs, and the fight is won. The Carrangers celebrate christmas for the rest of the episode. After a Filler episode, We get a episode of note for 2 reasons, 1) Zonnette leaves Bowzock, and provides closure to the Red Racer/Zonnette romance, also 2)...
Ultraman Neko Confirmed?
The series starts to come to a close in episode 46. This is where Dapp has a bad dream about the Carrangers losing their powers and Earth Exploding. The Carrangers don't take it seriously and start training. Exhaus uses the Wine barrel Constellation drunking up the Constellations to seal the Car Constellations that give the Carrangers their Powers. Gynamo is crying over Zonnette, Exhaus gives Bowzock Norishiron Final to End the Carrangers. The Carrangers get VRV Robo out to do Battle with Norisiron. It's just to powerful for the Carrangers to handle. That is until the Carrangers split their mecha up into 5 pieces. Then combine again when they have the upper hand. They finish the Robo Off, but the Battle is far from over... Bowzock sends in some wumpers while Ichitaro draws pictures of Carranger. Dapp is shocked his fears were true, and at 1:00 PM Exhaus swallows the Car Constellations whole. Costing The Carrangers their powers. Bowzock and Ichitaro are shocked to find out Carranger was a bunch of earth Civilians all along. The Carrangers fightagainst Bowzock's forces untransformed, Ichitaro tells Signalman about Carranger, the episode ends with the Carrangers taking their last stand against Bowzock. The Carrangers are getting owned by Bowzock, and they break into the Carranger Base. Pegasus Automobile Company is blown to Smithereens (just like how the Command Center was destroyed in Turbo), Ichitaro and Signalman try to find Carranger, when Bowzock get ready to celebrate blowing the earth up. Exhaus trashes the Bowzock Base, and sends it crashing to earth. Ichitaro and Signalman are still looking, and VRV Master and the Carrangers along with Dapp come out of the Rubble. VRV Master Explains what's happening, and Signalman decides to step into the Fight. Sirender tries to stop the Bowzock base from landing, but it's just too powerful and The 2 Parties fight on the ground. The carrangers have flashbacks to their Past Battles, and realize their Carranger in spirit. The Carrangers have a roll call untransformed. They fight Bowzock untransformed to the tune of an insert song. They win and Bowzock joins the good side. The Carranger decide to throw the Bowzock base into Exhaus, and the episode ends with The Carrangers firing the base towards Exhaus. The Base crashes into Exhaus, and they return out okay. THey celebrate their Defeat against Exhaus when the Final Boss Appears...
INTERGALACTIC CRIME BOSS
EXHAUS SUPER STRONG
(FYI; HIS POWER RANGERS COUNTERPART WAS SO POWERFUL HE CRIPPLED THE RANGERS HELPLESS...)
This serious may be light hearted, but it knew when to be serious, and or emotional, and knew when to be funny. It's in fact rather cute. This series is not for everyone, but if you didn't like it the first time, You might learn a little more the next time you watch it.
CHARACTERS:
Kyoskuke/Red Racer is Pegasus' Test driver, he was originally a selfish jerk, he couldn't stay selfish forever, since he was Carrangers leader. To Illustrate my point look at the Signalman arc side by side with episode 32. Naoki/Blue Racer, is Pegasus' car designer. He's real polite and shy, and has the duties of being the youngest out of the main five. Minoru/Green Racer is the oldest out of the main five, and is a salesman at Pegasus. He really can get angry, especially at the early episodes, but he eventually learns to control himself. Mar... I mean Kay... I mean Natusmi/Yellow Racer and Youko/Pink racer are essentially like sisters even though they're from different families. Natsumi's a mechanic and really knows how to help the Carrangers. Youko is the Secretary over at Pegasus. All she has for her is she wants to become an Idol, just like any other Pink Ranger, and is sort of a valet girl. Radietta Fanbelt/White Racer's like sort of a fangirl for Carranger, always wanting to fit in, but only appearing in like what? 3 or 4 episodes? Signalman is essentially a working class Police Officer on Police. He's the 6th ranger Surrogate of the series, He's funny, sometimes serious, but the only part I don't like about him is that he turns evil 3 times throughout the series, Kind of sucks at the whole hero thing. VRV Master is sort of a stoic lone wolf, and he has an excellent twist to his name.
PRESENTATION:
The Monsters look incredibly goofy, fitting the theme of the series. the Mechs are very greatly designed, Especially VRV Robo, who can separate into 5 different transforming humanoid robots. the series has a great charm to it that other Power Rangers series can't really replicate. Also I'd be remissed if I did't talk about he music, There's a ton of catchy tunes to go around, like The VRV Robo Theme, The Signalman Theme, and the english version of the Carranger theme, You're guaranteed to have a song or two stuck in your head after this series is finished.
OVERALL:
This was a fun and emotional series that you need to see if you want a good light hearted Sentai. Is it better than Power Rangers Turbo? Well, while I do prefer Turbo, This is still the objectively better series. I give this 3.25 Imo-Yokan's out of 4.
Stay tuned throughout the month to see various top lists of Super Sentai, and Kamen Rider...
