Top 10 ways Nintendo can save themselves

It's no secret that the Wii U is doing poorly, as far as I know, more people want an XBOX One than a Wii U, HELL, If the Wii U doesn't follow at least one of the 10 tips i give this right now, THE FREAKING OUYA IS GOING TO SELL MORE!!!!! With That said, here's 10 ways that the Wii U can save itself. I could also talk about the 3DS, but It's just small thing that need improving there like battery life.

#10: ACHIEVEMENTS/TROPHIES/GAMER SCORE:

This is low on the list because I don't really care about achievements, as much as every other person on the planet, but Why not implement the 3DS' Accomplishment system on to your games. Gamers Have been begging for it since the original Wii, Now's a good time as ever.

#9. A REAL POKEMON WII U GAME:

Come on, The Wii had this with the terrible but well intentioned Battle Revolution. Release a Pokemon Stadium-like game, or a Pokemon Colosseum-like game. No Pikachu as the main character, No Gimmicks, No Embarassing yourselves. Pokemon is a key Nintendo franchise, It's a key gaming franchise period, Yet hasn't had a decent console game since 2005, If that. Right now, Pokemon spinoffs only appeal to the 10 and under crowd. If it wants to attract more teen and adult fans, it needs a real console game.

#8. RELEASE MORE EXCLUSIVE INDIE/SMALLER GAMES ON HE WII U:

Part of the Wii U being behind is trying to Play catch-up with the older HD Consoles and failing miserably, You know how you can fix this, For One thing Release more indie games, You could get smaller indie studios who've been with Nintendo since they were kids and release some games similar to Cave Story, Or crowd funding games on Kickstarter or Indiegogo. You could easily make this console more Developer Friendly especially to up and coming developers.

#7. RELEASE A "PREMIUM" VERSION OF THE WII U:

This should seem self explanatory, Just add Support for DVDs, Ethernet, and maybe a internal Hard Drive. I know, seems expensive, but just cut the price on the older models. and release it for $349.99. If you're going to compete with Microsoft and Sony, you might as well pretend to try.

#6. GET SOME 3RD PARTIES INVOLVED:

Look, Nintendo, If you want to play catch-up, Get XBOX 360, and PS3 games that weren't on the Wii onto the Wii U, Like Bioshock, Who said it had to be just 360 and PS3 games you could get some real games that use the Wii U's hidden potential from 3rd parties that couldn't get their dream projects on the Wi since it was underpowered and revolved around a different control scheme.

#5. FIND SOME WAY TO CONNECT THE 3DS TO THE WII U:

Is it just me or am I noticing a pattern to these Nintendo consoles, that every other Big N console has compatibility with handheld games. Super Nintendo had the Super Game Boy, GameCube had the Game Boy Player, the Wii U could have 3DS TV. Sony's doing it, Why Can't Nintendo? 3DS games could look real good on the Big screen, and the Wii U gamepad could reach it's hidden potential. Just a thought.

#4. REVIVE SOMETHING CLASSIC WE'VE HAVEN'T SEEN IN A WHILE:

I said this before, and I'll say this again, Show some Originality when making games. We need a Star Fox Wii U game, F-Zero, Kid Icarus on Consoles, Nazo no Murasame Jo (an obscure Japanese game), Earthbound Trilogy, You Name it.

#3. IF YOU'RE GOING TO RELEASE OLD FRANCHISES, BE MORE CREATIVE ON IT:

NO!!!!! STOP PORTING WIND WAKER AND SUPER MARIO 3D LAND!!!!!!!!! I'll Definitely Buy them, but Show some originality when making old ideas into new games. Super Mario Universe, The successor to Super Mario Galaxy. A Sequel to Zelda: Twilight Princess using the same art style. A combination of Kirby 64 and Kirby Return to Dreamland, With Mixable, Matchable Powers and 4-Man Co-op. Hell if you want more Kirby, Make a Side-Scrolling shmup with Kirby and/or Ribbon (WHO WE HAVEN'T SEEN IN A WHILE) as Playable Charcters.

#2. ORIGINAL IDEAS:

Miyamoto's already working on this, and It'll be great to see original Ideas from Big Name Nintendo Studios like HAL, Game Freak, Retro, among others. There's plenty of Ideas in those guys heads other than Kirby, Pokemon, and Metroid. Heck, The Wii U can't survive on Smash Bros and Mario Kart alone, attract the RPG market With The same Magic that Project Rainfall games had. make Non Mario sports games. Am I the Only one thinking these Ideas.

#1. MARKET THE WII U BETTER:

This Is the most important one because this is why the Wii U had a crummy first year. Giggling and Playing families worked with the Wii and 3DS because it was their main targets, but The Wii U doesn't know what It's audience is yet, AND NO, I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT IT'S STILL FINDING IT'S IDENTITY!!!!!!! Look at how they're marketing the New Pokemon Games, Suspense filled, epic, and If I see Mario Kart and Smash Bros marketed like how they're marketing their own Wii U games, I'll release an F-Bomb so big, that it can be heard on the moon.

That's my Thoughts, How do you think the Wii U could help itself?
